Tag is a fun game to play and very easy to learn. All you need to play is children and room to run around.

The basic rule of tag is to choose someone to be “it”. Then “it” tries to tag everyone else. When someone is tagged then they become “it”. Fun ways to decide who’s “it”.

Capture the Flag, Dodgeball and Foursquare are three of my families favorite games.  The best part about these classic games is that you don’t need a lot of equipment to play.  You just need a ball to play Dodgeball and Foursquare and a flag or piece of cloth for Capture the Flag.

These are great games that kids can play with each other in the front yard, playground or park.  These are also great games for families to play together.  The Fun Games Kids Play website has all the rules and directions for each of these games – along with strategies and variations.
